Emanuele Giovanni Carlo Ogliari is an Associate Professor at the Department of Energy at the Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches Electrical Engineering and *Photovoltaic Based System Lab*. He obtained his Master’s degree and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, and since 2012 he has been working on the design of photovoltaic systems and the optimization of machine learning techniques applied to energy systems.
He has collaborated with several international universities and research centers, including the University of Danang – University of Science and Technology, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and the Global Energy Interconnection Research Institute Europe in Berlin. In 2013, he won the joint Italy–Israel Solar Energy laboratories initiative (ILSE) and is a member of the research staff at the SolarTechLAB and MG2Lab laboratories within the Department of Energy.
