Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
If I request an exemption, do I still have to pay the €800? No. If you request an exemption, you don't have to pay. If you win, the fee will be covered in full.
If you are not selected and do not receive any notification by April 30, 2026, you can decide whether to pay for your course through the courses section, checking the availability of remaining places in your chosen course.
How important is a motivation letter in qualifying for exemption? The letter is crucial: along with the report card grades, it helps determine a student's placement in the eligibility ranking. A strong motivation can compensate for a slightly lower grade point average.
Considering that the number of free exemptions offered by the project and sponsoring companies is limited, a good grade point average and a strong motivation expressed in the cover letter help increase the chances of success in obtaining free participation in the TECHCAMP courses.
What does the fee exemption include?
Students assigned a free place will be exempt from paying course fees. However, students will still be responsible for travel, room, and board costs.
