Prof. Cristiana Achille is an Associate Professor at the Politecnico di Milano, where she is affiliated with the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering (ABC). She graduated in Architecture in 1999 and holds a PhD in Geodetic and Topographic Sciences. She is currently the scientific coordinator of the 3DSurvey Group laboratory.
Her research and teaching activities focus on the field of Geomatics, with particular expertise in 3D surveying, photogrammetry, and reality-based modeling applied to the preservation and conservation of cultural heritage.
Throughout her career, she has coordinated numerous national and international surveying projects, including long-standing collaborations with the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano and participation in complex research programs in the archaeological and architectural fields. She is also actively involved in international scientific committees such as CIPA Heritage Documentation and ICOMOS Italia.
