Domenico Brunetto is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics at the Politecnico di Milano, where he focuses on teaching and the history of mathematics. His research activity centers on educational innovation, mathematical modeling, and the use of digital tools for teaching and learning mathematics, with particular attention to problem solving and mathematical models. He is the scientific coordinator of the METHEXIS research project (Polisocial Award 2023–24), dedicated to the development of mathematical skills in vulnerable contexts. He also participates in several research projects, including MATES – *MATematica per tutti in EState*, which explore the role of mathematics in interdisciplinary, educational, and social contexts. He is the author and instructor of mathematics MOOCs on [www.pok.polimi.it](http://www.pok.polimi.it) and develops educational laboratories and applications that integrate digital tools. Over the years, he has designed and coordinated numerous teacher training programs, such as *Teaching Mathematics with AI*. He is also actively involved in science communication and outreach activities, promoting a non-stereotypical view of mathematics.
